Does Gmail block email tracking?+

Gmail does not block it, but it does proxy images through Google’s cache, which is why a Gmail open is recorded even when the image is served from cache. We label those fetches as machine opens.

Will tracking hurt my Gmail deliverability?+

Do I need a Google Workspace account?+
