Conversion tracking

Influencer conversion tracking: know which creator's link made the sale

Reach and likes do not tell you which collaboration paid off. Influencer conversion tracking gives each creator their own link and ties the sale back to it, in rupees, so you can rank creators by revenue, not followers.

How do you track conversions from influencer campaigns?

Give every influencer a unique directinapp link to the same product. Each link counts its own clicks, and when an order completes, a pixel or a signed payment webhook ties the sale in rupees back to the exact creator's link, so you see revenue per influencer rather than just reach.

Why it matters

01

Revenue per creator, not reach

Followers and views describe attention. A unique link per influencer plus conversion tracking gives you the orders and rupees each collaboration actually produced, so you can compare cost to return.

02

One link per creator, tracked separately

Every influencer gets their own directinapp link to the same product. Each keeps its own clicks and its own attributed sales, so two creators promoting the same offer never blur together.

03

Sales captured automatically

Connect a signed Razorpay/Stripe/Shopify/WooCommerce webhook and orders are captured and attributed on their own, or add the GET /c pixel on your thank-you page. No gateway keys or checkout code are touched.

Set it up

Three steps, no developer

  1. 01

Give each influencer a unique link

Create a directinapp link per creator, all pointing at the same product or offer, so their traffic and sales stay separate.

  2. 02

    Capture the sale

Add the pixel to your order-confirmation page, or connect a signed payment webhook to auto-capture completed orders.

  3. 03

    Rank creators by revenue

Your dashboard shows the orders and revenue in rupees each creator's link drove, matched by the dia_clid click, so you renew the ones that earn.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I compare influencers fairly?+

Give each the same product link, tracked separately, so any difference in sales is the creator, not the offer. directinapp records orders and rupees per link, so you can put fee against return.

Does this work for gifted and paid collaborations?+

Yes. Any creator sharing their unique link is tracked the same way, whether the deal is paid, affiliate or gifted, and you see the revenue each one drove.

Can influencers see my sales data?+

No. The link is theirs to share, but the orders, revenue and dashboard are yours. Creators only ever see their own content, not your store's numbers.

What if a follower buys days later?+

The click is tied to a first-party dia_vid cookie in that browser and the dia_clid on the link, so a later purchase in the same browser is still matched to the creator who drove it.

More on conversion tracking

directinapp BusinessThe full conversion-tracking product: pricing, setup and a live demo.Conversion trackingConversion tracking is measuring the real outcomes a link drives — a sale, a signup, a lead — not just the clicks. You tell your analytics tool "this counts as a conversion, worth this much," and it ties that outcome back to the link that earned it. directinapp does this on every link: fire a pixel, a postback or our drop-in dia.js script when a sale happens, and see the count, the rupee value and the conversion rate for that exact link — right down to which click and visitor drove it.Instagram sales trackingYes — you can track sales and signups from an Instagram bio link or reel. Put your store or checkout behind a directinapp link, fire our pixel on your payment success page, and the Business report shows the count, rupee value and conversion rate that link drove. Even though a bio or reel is one shared link, per-visitor and per-click attribution shows which visitor and which click drove each sale — the visitor id is cookie-scoped to this browser, not the same person across devices.vs LinktreeLinktree tells you a link got clicked. directinapp tells you it drove 12 purchases worth Rs 5,988. On any link you can fire our tracking pixel or server postback with a sale value, and the Business tier shows conversion count, total value and conversion rate per link, per currency (INR/USD/EUR/GBP/AED). Attribution now runs per-click and per-visitor (dia_clid and dia_vid), and signed webhook auto-capture for Razorpay, Stripe, Shopify and WooCommerce records a paid order automatically.Tracking pixelA tracking pixel for links is a tiny 1×1 image you load when a sale happens. Point an img tag at GET /c?s=SLUG&e=purchase&v=499&cur=INR and directinapp records one conversion — with its rupee value — against the link that drove it. No SDK, no cookie, no code beyond one line of HTML.Server postbacksA server postback records a conversion by sending a POST /conversions call from your backend to directinapp. You send JSON with the link's slug, an event name, value and currency, and the dashboard shows counts, total value and conversion rate per link. It is shipped and works today. Signed, HMAC-verified postbacks are on the roadmap.Lead trackingYes — you can track leads and signups from any directinapp link today. Fire a "lead" or "signup" event from your form's thank-you page with our pixel or postback, and each link shows its lead count, conversion rate, and a per-event breakdown. Attribution ties each lead to the click and the visitor — a cookie-scoped id for this browser — that drove it; recognising the same person across devices is still on the roadmap.
