Conversion tracking
Track sales from your Instagram bio link and reels
Yes — you can track sales and signups from an Instagram bio link or reel. Put your store or checkout behind a directinapp link, fire our pixel on your payment success page, and the Business report shows the count, rupee value and conversion rate that link drove. Because a bio or reel is one link, attribution is per-link — you know the link earned the sales, not which follower.
Can you track sales from an Instagram link?
Yes. Use a directinapp link as your Instagram bio or reel link, then fire our pixel on your payment success page. The Business report shows the count, rupee value and conversion rate that link drove. Attribution is per-link — you learn the link earned the sales, not which individual follower.
Why it matters
See rupees, not just clicks
Instagram Insights stops at reach and profile taps. directinapp Business shows what your bio link or reel actually earned — conversion count, total value per currency (INR/USD/EUR/GBP/AED) and conversion rate for that link.
Split purchases, signups and leads
Fire a named event — purchase, signup, lead — and each shows up in its own per-event breakdown with a timeseries and a detailed feed of every single conversion. Handy when a reel drives both sales and newsletter signups.
Honest per-link attribution
A bio or reel is one link, so you learn that the link drove N conversions worth X rupees — not which follower did it. Per-visitor (per-click) attribution is on the roadmap; today it is clean, per-link truth with nothing over-claimed.
Set it up
Three steps, no developer
Point your bio link or reel at a directinapp link
Wrap your store, checkout or signup URL in a directinapp smart link and use it as your Instagram bio link or in your reel. Conversion ingestion is always on for every link on every plan, so you start collecting from click one.
Fire the pixel on your success page
On your order-confirmation or thank-you page, drop the 1x1 pixel: GET /c?s=YOUR_SLUG&e=purchase&v=499&cur=INR. Prefer a server call? POST /conversions with JSON { slug, eventName, value, currency }. Today you fire this yourself — Razorpay/UPI/Stripe webhook auto-capture is planned, not live.
Open the Business conversions report
See the count, total rupee value, conversion rate, per-event split, timeseries and per-conversion feed for that link. Ingestion runs on every plan; viewing the reports needs the Business tier — start your free Business month to unlock them.
Frequently asked questions
Can I track sales from my Instagram bio link or reel?+
Yes. Use a directinapp link as your Instagram bio link or reel link, then fire our pixel (or a server postback) on your payment success page. The Business report then shows the conversion count, rupee value and conversion rate that link drove. Attribution is per-link — you know the link earned the sales, not which specific follower — because a bio or reel is a single shared link.
Does it know which follower bought?+
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. Since a bio or reel is one link shared with everyone, directinapp reports at the link level: this link drove N conversions worth X rupees. Per-visitor (per-click) attribution with a click id is on the roadmap; until it ships, the feed's source/where-it-came-from columns stay effectively empty.
Do I need code on my website?+
Barely. It is a no-code pixel — a 1x1 image tag on your thank-you page: GET /c?s=YOUR_SLUG&e=purchase&v=499&cur=INR. If you would rather send it server-side, POST /conversions with a small JSON body. No SDK required (a JavaScript SDK is planned, not needed today).
Does it plug into Razorpay or UPI automatically?+
Not automatically yet. Today you put the directinapp pixel or postback on your Razorpay success/thank-you page and fire it yourself when a payment succeeds — that works right now. Native Razorpay/UPI/Stripe webhook auto-capture is coming on the roadmap; we will not imply a live webhook integration exists until it ships.
What does it cost?+
Conversion ingestion is free on every plan for every link. Viewing the conversion reports needs the Business tier — Rs 999/mo (anchor Rs 1,999) or Rs 9,999/yr (anchor Rs 19,999), plus GST, payable via UPI or Razorpay. The early-bird free trial month is full Business, so you can see your Instagram sales reports before paying anything.
Can it handle sales in different currencies?+
Yes. Totals are shown per currency — INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED — and never blindly summed across currencies. If your reel sells to buyers in rupees and dollars, each currency keeps its own count and value.

Conversion tracking
Conversion tracking is measuring the real outcomes a link drives — a sale, a signup, a lead — not just the clicks. You tell your analytics tool "this counts as a conversion, worth this much," and it ties that outcome back to the link that earned it. directinapp does this per link today: fire a pixel or a postback when a sale happens, and see the count, the rupee value and the conversion rate for that exact link.
vs Linktree
Linktree tells you a link got clicked. directinapp tells you it drove 12 purchases worth Rs 5,988. On any link you can fire our tracking pixel or server postback with a sale value, and the Business tier shows conversion count, total value and conversion rate per link, per currency (INR/USD/EUR/GBP/AED). Today attribution is per-link, and payment-webhook auto-capture is on the roadmap.
Tracking pixel
A tracking pixel for links is a tiny 1×1 image you load when a sale happens. Point an img tag at GET /c?s=SLUG&e=purchase&v=499&cur=INR and directinapp records one conversion — with its rupee value — against the link that drove it. No SDK, no cookie, no code beyond one line of HTML.
Server postbacks
A server postback records a conversion by sending a POST /conversions call from your backend to directinapp. You send JSON with the link's slug, an event name, value and currency, and the dashboard shows counts, total value and conversion rate per link. It is shipped and works today. Signed, HMAC-verified postbacks are on the roadmap.
Lead tracking
Yes — you can track leads and signups from any directinapp link today. Fire a "lead" or "signup" event from your form's thank-you page with our pixel or postback, and each link shows its lead count, conversion rate, and a per-event breakdown. Attribution is per-link today; per-visitor is on the roadmap.
Razorpay tracking
Yes — you can track Razorpay sales from your directinapp links today. Drop the directinapp pixel or server postback onto your Razorpay success page, and every paid order shows up against the link that drove it: order count, total rupees, and conversion rate. It's manual (you fire the pixel on success); automatic webhook capture is on the roadmap.
